The red color is more reminiscent of burgundy.
I wanted to sew a tutu with it by July 4th. I also had regular tulle (no sequins) and this red didn't match any red I could find. It's more of a burgundy color or like a burnt red. It's hard to explain, but it's not red. But the quality of the tulle was excellent and I used blue and white.
