Excellent set! The colors are lovely and the pens are so consistent and high quality. There's so much very good stuff in it and it's definitely more than worth the price. It's not your average "er, that'll probably be decent enough". art set. This is your "way better than I ever imagined!" creative kit. The pencil sharpener is great too! If you really like pencils and charcoal then you know how annoying a sharpener can be that just won't go along with it, but the one that comes with it is top notch. I was just looking for a set that was decent enough to replace all my used items and hold on to until I have the money to buy 'better' items, but I will definitely be making this set again buy it when i need a replacement! If you are unfamiliar with the items in this set, I recommend finding an inexpensive book to order that will show you what each type of pencil is for and how to use them. I don't need one but I can see how a beginner would, especially if you are new to this type of set or buying one for a child. I don't recommend it for younger children but my 8 year old loves to use it from time to time and she does very well with it. Overall, I highly recommend this set!
