Love the look, design and feel. Works well like any French Press. The weirdest thing is that since part of the glass carafe can separate from the handle assembly, when I pull the plunger up, the entire carafe pops out. The weight of the coffee + water reduces this effect, but I have to hold the glass part when I lift the plunger. But at this point it's not hot anymore, so it doesn't matter that much. The separation benefits more than it risks as the glass carafe pulls out easily for cleaning, which wasn't the case with my old French Press, which was completely glued between the glass and handle.
