For a small tripod - selfie sticks - this one works well for light cameras (like cellphones) but probably not for heavier cameras. The Bluetooth "remote shutter" that comes with the tripod is completely useless for both iPhones and Android phones. plain and simple: it doesn't work. It pretends to work, but it doesn't. There are LOTS of NEGATIVE reviews about the remote control. So if you order a tripod don't be discouraged as the app required to use the remote control is outdated (over 4 years old) and what reviews look like and the iPhone app store does NOT support the remote control. which is a shame because it would be handy to have it with a tripod. If you don't care about the remote control to turn your phone camera on and off, a tripod in your camera bag is still a good thing. I wouldn't really recommend this product, but as mentioned, a tripod is useful.
