I have tried all the Hawinks needles. Big, small, small. Amazing work. I still use them. The needles are sharp, they do what they're supposed to, and they'll serve you as long as they deserve. Plus, it's one of the few brands that you can buy in bulk from Revain. Whether you are an apprentice or a scab wizard, they are definitely recommended. However! I have 2 problems with them and WJX cartridges have this problem too. 1. Leather fabric and ink can easily stick together and leave ghost lines, so you need to wash your needles frequently. 2. If your power supply is cheap, it sometimes spits out ink. If you have a good power supply, sometimes it will push out the whole group of needles. So remember to start your machine first and then insert the cartridge. Sounds like common sense, but in the flow of things you forget it. Otherwise you need to update them. Hawkink V2 anyone?
