The overall quality of the device is good, it feels solid and gives a pretty good picture. However, the remote control left a lot to be desired. This is one of the cheapest remotes out there and doesn't have the features that would make using a switch efficient. The remote doesn't let you select the input individually, so you're forced to use the button on the switch itself, which also means you have to cycle through all the channels to get to the channel you want. It was a pain because I only had 2 inputs, but I had to switch all four every time I switched inputs. The remote only allowed switching between PIP modes, which I don't need. Our goal was to use this for live streaming, but since we had to switch back and forth between two unused inputs each time we switched cameras, it just didn't work. If only the remote was designed to let you select individual channels, that would be great. I intend to go back and find someone who will.
