I have a DAC that converts pulses of light from my TV into an analog electrical signal that I feed to my radio to get acceptable sound quality from my TV. The DAC output was too low; I had to turn the volume up when watching TV and turn it back down when listening to another source. I used this amp to boost the TV audio signal to match the level of other sources, but I had to turn the volume all the way up. The sound quality is acceptable. Everything is better than the sound quality of most flat screen TVs.
