Review on Large Breed Locking Pet Door by William Whisperer

I used this on a basement interior door. I don't think this would be good for an exterior door as a rigid sash will not provide a good seal. I used the flex type on the outer basement door leading to the backyard as it offers better weather protection. I have four dogs, two male Australian Cattle Dogs, a female Golden Retriever and a female German Shepherd. This door is used very often, and twice I found a hatch at the bottom of the stairs leading to the basement. It's easy to put back on, but it's also easy for dogs to detach during normal use. That's negative. On a positive note, it comes with a panel that easily snaps into place to prevent dogs from using it. The German shepherd loves to run and bark at night. With this panel I can leave it inside and the neighbors can sleep!
