To be fair I don't think the description says it's made of hard wood so maybe I shouldn't have expected it. He is durable. The LEGS are made of bent wood. The seat is made of pressed wood fibre, covered with white faux leather on the underside and printed with an image resembling a wood grain on the top. Printed synthetic leather doesn't look as nice as real wood and obviously doesn't last as long as a real wood seat. If you are aesthetically picky, you will be disappointed. Apart from that everything is alright.
