Review on 🏰 Scooby-Doo Adventure Mystery Mansion by PLAYMOBIL: Uncover Exciting Secrets and Solve Mysteries! by Dave Johnson

Revainrating 3 out of 5

I'm glad I bought it but the price is a little high.

It's fun and cute and my kid loves it although the little things are a bit frustrating at times. I'm giving it a 3 because it's aesthetically pleasing, but it has flaws. The monster is funny and the coffin makes a lot of funny noises. My kid loves the projector and bone trap in the chimney. I'm personally a fan of the falling chandelier and the hidden passage. Ultimately, I don't think it was worth $99. Some parts do not fit together properly. The ladder won't snap no matter what we do, there remains a gap. The hatch is very flimsy and any pressure will cause the latch to open without touching the painting. Some parts are so small it's almost ridiculous - especially for the 5+ age group. I've enjoyed collecting this because I love building things, but for most people it's really going to be an absolute nightmare, especially if your younger kids are trying to help. All the pieces come in separate little bags, which would be great if the pieces that go together were in ONE bag and you didn't have to search through them all to find individual pieces. Daphne's skirt is gone. Why is the skirt detachable at all? Fred's pants - no! The ghost projection app is not working on our phone. So it was a bummer. Fred, Daphne and Scooby are the same characters as in the other sets. So if you collect several sets, you will get several identical figures without any difference. Either way, it's a fun toy, but it shouldn't cost as much as it does with all the expenses. If your child loves Scooby-Doo ton and would definitely be thrilled to have their own haunted house then this is a great buy.
