I didn't like it, I don't recommend buying.

My ancient Algy vacuum cleaner (although it was bought for 600 bucks 18 years ago and it was not cheap)  as hard as this dyson, so I'm not surprised by its power. But there have never been problems with closing the dust collector, and I could safely entrust the children with cleaning the apartment with its help. But with the dyson, the situation is different - I have to follow it myself, otherwise all the garbage wakes up on the floor.
I also didn’t like the quality of the plastic from which the Dyson vacuum cleaner is made - it is soft and dents and scratches remain on it very easily. Specifically, on the nozzles and on the telescopic tube (with any clinging to furniture, scratches remain on them).

I also have a vertical V8 Absolute - I'm 100% satisfied with it.
But this vacuum cleaner disappointed me and I will not advise anyone to buy it. Yes, and there is a desire to change to another. Sorry for the money paid.

Pros

An interesting idea is that when it rolls over, it gets back on the wheels (although my old vacuum cleaner never rolled over))) Very powerful. He ed out the grout between the parquets on the floor))) Dust, wool (there are three cats and a big dog in the house), sand - all this is no longer a problem. Many different nozzles for any purpose.

Cons

Very strange dust collector. It closes with a small latch. Really small drink that will soon break off. Yes - the dust collector lid opens very easily and the debris is also removed very easily, BUT closing the lid back is not easy. You have to do it very carefully (otherwise the lid closes crookedly (the rubber seal does not always fit exactly) and even this small latch scares . if it breaks off, then the dust collector body needs to be replaced. And if you close the lid a little crookedly, then later, when removing the dust collector from vacuum cleaner, this lid opens by itself and all the debris spills out onto the floor and onto the vacuum cleaner itself. You have to constantly monitor whether this lid closes evenly (I have never encountered this). debris often gets stuck when moving from the tube to the dust collector itself. you have to cut it out by hand. Wool gets stuck between the dust collector body and the filter - you also need to pick it out manually. plastic is terribly magnetized - when cleaning, wool sticks to the vacuum cleaner itself and to the telescopic tube and nozzle - during cleaning, you often have to "vacuum the vacuum cleaner itself" from adhering wool. Never encountered this.
