Completely useless stuff. Can't go back as I had to change.
does not fit. There are no metal contacts in this piece of plastic. The pin that holds the signal in the rotary position must be taken over from the old part (as well as the metal contacts and their springs). The 1988 Ford F150 has a connector that is too big for the hole in this plastic part. I had to change the hole to accept the plastic part. The cap on the detent's friction grip then cracked when trying to install it on the Ford pin. Completely useless stuff. Can't return because I had to change the hole to fit a round Ford pin.
