I recently bought a Skytrak launch monitor and used these balls on it. I'm happy to report that I'm getting really good distance results, especially with my wedges up to 7i. Everything after that is hit or miss, but that's because I'm not very good at golf, not with this ball. However, one of the things I noticed using these balls and the Skytrak was, that the balls kept the ball. practice on the green but really run out after landing. I began to wonder how accurate Skytrak is in this regard. That's when I remembered finding the Pro V1x on a golf course once. I didn't want to play it at the track because...well, I would have lost it just as quickly as the sucker who lost it before me, so I put it on the shelf in the garage on that distant day when I got it was better". ". Well, that day hasn't come yet, but I thought that the probability of losing it in the garage was small (unfortunately, not zero, as experience has shown). The very first swipe I got with the Pro V1x was spinning like a nut I've never done this and it was pretty damn cool But here's the thing, I may have felt like a pro but I did compared to these balls (the racquet at least) significantly Lost in distance and I prefer the feel of these balls a lot softer when I hit them right compared to the stiffer feel of the V1x ball I'd say if you're an experienced golfer who has consistent reliable contact and not much help from afar needs then this ball may not be for you, you might want to invest in one of the more expensive options as there is definitely a difference in how they react to the color green, however if you, like the mei Most of us need all the help you can get, these balls feel great off the stick and offer pretty good distance. They also seem to hold greens when they should, but expect some to roll out. That being said, the price of these Wilsons couldn't be higher, and I'll likely be buying them until that elusive day when I'm a "better" golfer. I recently ordered Chrome Soft as I want to compare them. . I will update if necessary. Hope this helps someone. UPDATE: As mentioned in my original post, I've been playing Callaway Chrome Softs (CCS) and have to admit I really enjoy them. In my experience, CCS's feel great off the racquet when hit right and offer great spin off the green. They aren't as long as these Wilsons but definitely have comparable feel and better spin. Of course they cost a lot more. In addition to the CCS, I've also tested Costco's Kirkland Signatures and they're probably my favorite balls at the moment considering they're very similar to the CCS but significantly cheaper. . However, I still use these Wilsons regularly and will continue to do so. So far very happy with this purchase. I'll be testing some Vice Balls in the near future so I'll update accordingly.
