Nice but noisy with lights and ceiling fans

We bought this fan for our new beach house. Installation was a bit more difficult than with other fans. As other people have mentioned, the lack of space made it difficult with the wiring. The fan is nice, but it definitely makes a loud hum that is annoying. Unfortunately, it is already installed and since we live in a different federal state than our beach house, we do not have time to replace this fan. We'll probably replace it next time we're here. Unless you don't mind a lot of hum, I recommend reading all the reviews before buying a ceiling fan to make sure it's quiet.
