The Odyssey had a damaged 12v socket. Strange, but this needs to be fixed. Honda uses two right-angled electrodes, which are not easy to find. Even used Honda parts may not fit exactly. This socket is slightly smaller for the opening. The solution is to replace the old Honda socket part with this socket. It works well because the outlet expands 1/4 inch when you unplug it, but that rarely happens. Overall I am happy with this decision.
