So this instrument would be amazing if it didn't cover most of my needs. Specifically, I can use my mechanical keyboard, but it doesn't light up. Sounds petty, but my keys are made in such a way that they are not visible without a backlight, especially in the evenings. The USB just doesn't put out enough power, but the manual suggests it should. I contacted support about this. I just found out I can't watch Disney+ through this thing. I haven't tested other streaming services, but they don't support HDCP, so I can bet they don't either. This thing burned one of my (admittedly cheap) USB-C to HDMI cables. Guess that's what made me update them if nothing else. But if you don't have good cables and can't get them, don't worry. This tool will be great if that's not a problem for you. If you have a decent keyboard and good cables and don't watch videos on the monitors in question, get this one. This will make setup easier for you. I highly recommend it. Unfortunately, today this is not the majority of users.
