Review on iPhone Compatible/Replacement Charging Speaker ๐Ÿ”Œ Dock: Philips Fidelio DS3000 Docking Station by Dawn Adams

Good sound and small enough for a bedside table.

I bought this as a $50 gold box deal with the intention of keeping it next to my desk at work. Delivered on Friday. To test this I put it on the bedside table where it stayed. I've considered replacing my alarm clock with a system, but the ones I've found either rely on the iPhone as the clock, or the design doesn't seem solid enough to withstand my hand pressing the snooze button. Bad sound. not great, but good enough for smaller volumes. When it's on, there's a buzz, but no music plays, although you can't hear it over the music. The only indicators on it are the + and - buttons for volume control. This makes it suitable for use in a dark bedroom. The app doesn't do much. You can set your iPod touch or iPhone as a clock and dim it with the app, but I don't find it useful because I already have the clock. Overall good sound for a small speaker but don't expect it to fill a room. As of this writing, the price is $70. I like it for $50, but I'm not sure I'd pay $70 or another $15-20 for something significantly better.
