Our son, who will soon be three years old, works as a mini mechanic. He loves to disassemble and reassemble most of his cars, trucks and construction equipment. Luckily, this kit is actually meant to be taken apart and reassembled. This set consists of a puzzle piece and a blocking block. Included blocks can be configured and reconfigured in a variety of ways. Some configurations produce more playable results than others. I like the fact that the blocks are thick and smooth with rounded edges. So far it has caused fewer bruises and scratches than some other kits we have. While our son seems to like the set a lot, he is a little disappointed that the wheels don't move particularly freely around their hubs. As a result, the finished car slides more than it rolls. However, he's having a pretty good time with this set.
