hides the mess in the toilet!

A few years ago I made a similar tray out of an old wooden toy box. I was excited to build this and see how the two cases compare. This one had many parts and took just over an hour to put together. The instructions were a little vague at times, but every part was labeled, including tiny screws and other hardware in individually labeled ziplock bags. No tools were required other than a Phillips screwdriver and a hex wrench. As the illustrations were not clear, I had to remove and reattach parts several times, for example when I screwed the door hinges in the wrong position. After assembly, this box was taken to a designated place in the hallway. It's not very heavy, but it's quite big and bulky, so I recommend two people to carry it. It has a panel with a door that can be used inside to divide the box into two "rooms". I had to remove this as the large tray I put in couldn't fit in a 'room'. You have to use a fairly small field if you want to use a delimiter. This block allows you to orient the outer door to be on either the left or right side of the product. The front has two wide doors that open to reveal the entire interior for easy cleaning. Compared to my homemade suitcase, I appreciate being able to put things on top of the device that I can't do with a newly designed toy box. I have to lift the lid to get to the toy box shelf. The new case requires me to crouch to open the doors, which may be more difficult for some people. Otherwise the difference is small. Cats use both boxes freely. I think I'll put an old rug in the entrance of the new box as there is an open space for cats to sniff around for debris. The new crate requires the cats to get up and cross the threshold, which will likely significantly reduce the amount of litter already found. My old box needs a rug on the outside as the door is cut to the floor. Overall I think this is a well made and useful product. This looks way better than an open tray and contains a lot of clutter.
