Review on Cabiclean 2 HEPA Filters with 6 Carbon Pre Filters for AP-1512HH Coway Air Purifier by Brian Cueto

I liked the value for money when I received it. After all, two of those HEPAS filters and six activated carbon filters still cost about what I would pay for one of the original manufacturer's filters. Unfortunately, when I installed the filters, the air purifier started giving off a very strong smell, similar to gasoline or oil. The smell was so bad it gave me a headache sitting in the same room trying to figure out what was wrong with it. I ran the purifier at maximum power for an additional six hours in an enclosed space with the A/C and fan running. As a result, the smell of gasoline and oil remained. This seems to be a common problem as several other users have mentioned that smell is an issue. That being said I have requested a replacement kit and will let you know if the replacement R has the same issue. The air filter set is currently unusable in its current form.
