Review on Portasol 011280240 Butane-Powered Soldering Iron by James Vilchez

I had one like this that worked the first time but couldn't start it the second time. He also had a problem with the gas valve and would release gas even with the switch off. I returned it for a new one but it seems to have the same lighting issue right away. I keep it. I have a workaround: unscrew the tip, light it with the built in clicker, then screw the tip back in, which seems to power it. It's a hassle, but it works pretty well when it works. The gas doesn't seem to come out between uses. Overall I'm a big fan but can only give 2 stars as it doesn't light up.
