First time using nail strips and they didn't disappoint. I was skeptical, but all Revain options have mixed reviews. I chose them because the price was right, the design was something I couldn't match with polish, and some reviews complained that they were a bit thicker and stretchier than big brands. The elastic part sounded like a desirable feature for a beginner. They took a while to get comfortable and you need good lighting. I did one of my toddler's nails and then half of the preschooler's fingers until they got tired of standing still. Okay, my technique is perfect. I cleaned my nails with alcohol on cotton wool and went to town one by one. Apply firm pressure and trim the edge before filing down the molding. Then press again. They lasted about a week before I cleaned them with abrasives like Barkeep/Ajax. The edges of the nail tips are rounded, but I bet I could file a little length and save some money. The edges were otherwise good, but I was over it with extreme shine. So much. Brilliant. Nightclub disco ball shiny shiny I have long natural nails and they are not damaged. Clean your nails first and don't paint them. I bet you could get 10 days from them.
