Works best on electrical

I have a shop light connector that connects to my garage lighting circuit. When I turn on the light in the garage, all the lights come on. I don't want them to turn on every time I turn on the light. With remote controlled outlets, I can turn off the ones I don't need. When I want them on, I just press the remote. A plus is a magnetic remote switch that I can keep on my steel tool box. I will buy more from these outlets.
