Review on SteelSeries Arctis 3 - All-Platform Gaming Headset - PC, PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, VR, Android, iOS - White: A Comprehensive Gaming Experience by Dwii Sara Agung ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

A very high-quality product, I take it not for the first time.

These are gaming headphones, and they are reasonably priced for their level (I wouldn't take more than 5-5.5 thousand), with high-quality sound and 7.1 emulation; however, if you want to listen to music, you will definitely need to look in a different direction because the Arctis 3 are not universals. SteelSeries does not support these ears in the GG app, explaining that Windows already has support for surround sound. However, I had a difficult time setting them up (Windows Sonic was not active), and I even wrote to SteelSeries support for assistance, but they were unable to assist me in either of these areas. I had already discovered on my own that the reason why I was unable to configure Windows sonic was because I had the SteelSeries GG application installed. As a result, I removed the application from the system, and after that, the settings became accessible. The design of these headphones, along with the ear cushions, make them ideal for use while playing video games. Not only can you play for long periods of time without experiencing head fatigue, but the surround sound also makes it easier to pinpoint the location of shots and steps (PUBG, Tarkov and others).

Pros
  • Excellent headphones from a reputable brand: - they have a stylish appearance (in my opinion, these are the best-looking ears), there are no lights, and the materials are of the highest quality; - the ear cushions are made of cloth, and the filling is soft and comfy; the ears do not become hot. - a great microphone with the capability to put it in the earpiece; - a high-quality headband that does not press on the user's head and allows for depth adjustment using a strap; - the capacity to configure version 7.1 (only on windows) - the availability of an adapter-extension cable (from a 3.5 jack to separate jacks for the ears and the microphone), which enables the device to be connected to a laptop as well as a personal computer; - ear pads that can be replaced (in the event that you become "weary" of using the headset by yourself, you can purchase a replacement); - a wire that can be separated from the headset itself (replacement is possible in case of damage)
Cons
  • - The SteelSeries GG software does not support this model, which means that you cannot set up 7.1 on a Mac at all (at least not without using crutches and dancing with tambourines). On Windows, the setting can only be done through the Windows Sonic software. - the opinion of the author that cord braid is not made of fabric; - the precise cable entry to the earpiece
