30 amps is not a good idea.
I don't like using the 30A plug on most campsites because people have used them improperly and most of them are damaged. By using a 50 amp plug I avoid damaging my gear. This adapter is very cheap and very well made. You cannot buy parts and make this adapter at the price listed here!
