Perfect for what I wanted
I have a canopy on the side of my shop. I wanted string lights to be installed under the canopy to provide "mood lighting". I had a headlight that I no longer use on a light switch in a store. So I cut the connector off the headlight wire and connect it to the headlight wire (after removing the headlight). Works perfectly! The switch turns them on and off. That's exactly what I wanted.
