These lanterns are so beautiful. They give enough light to see, but not glaring or too bright. I use them around patio railings and along the top of outdoor cat enclosures. Buy your own metal hooks for hanging, the plastic hooks contain dry rot and break easily. (in the street)

I ordered BLUE lights to honor our police officers. All of the boxes said they had blue lights, but they all seemed to be mostly white even after I plugged them in. No one standing more than 20 feet away would have guessed they were blue, even at night. If you are looking for the "Blue Line" color, this is not for you.

I have a canopy on the side of my shop. I wanted string lights to be installed under the canopy to provide "mood lighting". I had a headlight that I no longer use on a light switch in a store. So I cut the connector off the headlight wire and connect it to the headlight wire (after removing the headlight). Works perfectly! The switch turns them on and off. That's exactly what I wanted.

It took me 3 attempts to finally get the right PVC protected light tubes! I kept getting tiny, thin fairy thongs without the protective PVC sleeve. I wish there was a remote control. I will be purchasing another set to complete the entire living room. Note! 1 box covers 2 walls if you have small spaces. FYI: Many sellers show false photos.

They are really easy to put together as the ends can be twisted. NO cutting or splicing. The white lights are so bright they light up my entire backyard with three sets of 33 foot lights. I like to order short lengths and splice them so that if a section burns out I only have to replace that section, not the entire line. It would have been only 30 meters high if only part of it had burned down. Very happy with the headlights. I have them on a morning to night timer.

We placed a string of lights on the outside edge of the porch railing to provide limited backyard lighting. We have a timer that turns on at dusk and turns off 4 hours after dark. To get a straight line I had to buy a second set of mounting hooks to keep the rope from sagging between the hooks. The lights are quite bright so they will be distracting when they shine in your eyes. I'm glad we put a railing on the outside of the porch back then.
