Not made of iron and will not lie flat on the counter.
The description says it's made of iron which is a flat lie, this pot is made of cheap metal. What worries me the most is that it doesn't lay flat on the counter because the handle protrudes above the bottom of the pan. So when you sit on it, the handle makes it tilt and swing from side to side. I'm amazed at the density it takes to ruin something as simple as a pen.
