These really are the best bowls ever. I found them after browsing America's Test Kitchen that they were the best mixing bowls (forget if it was stainless steel or not). In any case, they are clean, light and work with liquids as well as dry. They are easy to hand wash and are small enough to be dishwasher safe. Lived normally until the freezer. Good sizes. I will say sometimes I need a size larger than the 5 quart but they have a few larger options aside from this set which I also bought individually. Recommended for beginners or advanced in the kitchen!
