I've been using it for about a week now and it works great for my needs. I work in a photo studio, so I use this to connect my Nikon D7200 and other cameras to a monitor. . This allows me to look at photos as I take them. I use a 25 foot cable and since I have multiple photographers in my studio I can sit in a separate corner of the room and view photos as they are taken. I use this in combination with the Flux WiFi Smart LED Bulb - smartphone controlled multi colored lights. This allows me to pick a color to give feedback when I see the photos live. Note that this cable needs to be plugged directly into the input (monitor/TV) and output (laptop with camera) as using any adapter doesn't work, at least not for me. I've tried connecting HDMI to a VGA adapter to connect to a monitor that only uses VGA and DVI, but it kept saying it's not supported.
