This item is very well built and easy to use. The SD card slot has a sliding cover that you open to insert a card. Then close the cover over the card and slide it to the locked position. It works great on my Raspberry Pi 4. The lid is small and feels a bit flimsy, but I've opened and closed mine several times with no issues. The only issue I have is that I wish the cord was a bit longer. However, this worked fine for my build.
