This was a very simple and inexpensive solution to replace the factory remote control locks on my 1998 Jeep Cherokee. Installation took about 30 minutes and cost less than 1/4 the cost of trying to swap out and reprogram the factory remotes. This is a simple 4 wire setup that only requires basic mechanical skills and tools (screwdrivers, wire cutters and soldering irons) to make the electric locks work remotely. However, getting the headlight horn/flash to work is a more difficult task that I haven't taken on. Simple and works great!
