I only have one outlet in my garage which is a major inconvenience. That's why I chose this plug. There are many features than I was even surprised.1. It has two indicator lights that can tell if it is grounded and if it is powered on. I had a freezer in my garage. The outlet went out a few times, but I didn't find out until a few days later. You can imagine a catastrophe. Now the display can tell me if it is on all the time.2. One of the sockets can be tilted to make it easier for me to connect external power tools. For just over $10, I've tripled the number of outlets in my garages with added benefits.
