I have used this product on a #35 chain and the rod pushing the pin out of the link does not push straight but instead oscillates on an almost fixed screw axis. So expect your links to be crushed and then crushed while that lovely metal scratching sound plays to remind you that your chain is breaking. Currently looking for another tool
