Presumably if you are looking at this, you are training your dog and do not have complete command. Do not expect to contain your dog with this. It is impossible to hold on to.Someone had their dog off leash at the park and came up to us and egged my reactive dog into a running match. This leash will rope burn your hands if you try to hold your dog back, its impossible. The handle itself was not very forgiving and bruised my wrist. I'm a 200lb man and had to basically full nelson the leash handle to not lose my dog. And it hurt. With other leashes I've used, I've been able to prevent the running right away. With this one I had to just let her run into the 15-20ft of slack she had since I could not hold the leash without injuring myself.I've never written a review of a product before. I was planning on quietly returning it and buying a new leash. However this morning (next day) I saw my dog has some rope burn on the inside of her leg.If you are concerned about controlling your dog buy another leash. If you're not concerned about controlling your dog, you probably aren't in need of a long leash. This product shouldn't exist.
