Review on 💡 Tovatec 1000 USB Spot Light: Illuminating Power at Your Fingertips by Joe Montalvo

I bought this light from a local dive shop and wanted to use it as my main light. I decided I didn't like it any more than the VOLADOR 3. Yes, it's smaller than the Volador and the charging cable fits right into the flashlight without the need for a separate charger (both big pluses!) And it's BRIGHT, but this is what keeps it from becoming my main light: until I turn it over and look directly at the light itself, I can't tell if it's on or off. It's not a problem at night, but it's a problem on day dives when I'm just looking with it into caves and crevices. There's a small indicator light around the power button, but it's difficult to see in daylight. I find that I always turn up the lights to look directly at the main bulb. The Volador is turned on and off with a rotary switch on the collar, so I turn it all the way to the left without even looking and I know it's off. Giving Tovatec 5 stars because it's a great light and the switch is more of a personal preference than an issue with the light itself. This is my backup light for night dives, or mine is borrowed for other members of my party who may not have a light but want one.
