As a teacher I get a lot of grades so I really needed this to work with the Freestyle 2 keyboard. As with the keyboard some modifications were needed to reduce the strain on my wrist. The keyboard and number pad should slope up on the side closest to your body and down on the other side. I was able to achieve this by raising the mouse's palm rest even higher with a 3/4 inch piece of foam to prevent my wrist from twisting. I don't understand why Kinesis didn't add elevation and padding as one of the main reasons to buy Kinesis is that your hands and wrists are in a more natural position. The bottom of the keyboard seems to have a latch like a keyboard but Kinesis does looks like they at least thought of that, but I don't know about the sale yet.
