Review on CDI Torque 2503CASG Computorq Steel Grip Electronic Wrench: Ultimate Precision and Control for 1/2 Drive Applications! by Sean Webb

Revainrating 5 out of 5

CAL REQUIRED out of the box.

The torque wrench works, but there are a few things to know before you buy. The box was quite battered (ratchet head and loop snapped) and very dusty (suggesting that it had been on the shelf or in storage for some time). The wrench powers on without a hitch, but the display shows a CALIBRATION REQUIRED warning message every time you turn it on, so you'll have to scroll through this message each time you use it. The sticker on the packaging shows that the last calibration was carried out in 2014. Otherwise the torque wrench works as intended and I'll probably just bother with the calibration message for a while as I'd rather not ship it to/from Hawaii for an additional fee plus shipping. Location. I tested the accuracy on my dealer's QCDTC3250 Electronic Torque Tester and found the wrench accuracy to be within the advertised 2% CW (at 50% torque limit) so I'm happy with the unit for the price. I'm glad I got it when it was trading at $508.58
