I bought these for my son to wear to forest school. I actually like them better than the ones Oaki had last time because of the ankle cuffs. They fit my son as expected and he hasn't complained at all. The insides feel a bit supple as you'd expect from waterproof pants and I usually wear sweat wicks for my son in compression pants (we live in a warmer climate) and don't let his skin touch the inside of the pants. waterproof pants (he has a lot of sensory desires). So far they've worked great and my son hasn't complained at all! (Which surprises him) They seem to give him the protection he needs while still allowing him freedom of movement. I will definitely buy them for him in the future when he grows up!
