Review on Billion Dollar Brows Universal Eyebrow by Brittney Reynolds

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Now made from cheaper materials but sold at the same price as before

I got my first billion dollar eyebrows as a Christmas present. I have dark almost black hair and use it with no problems. I also applied it to my sister's eyebrows and it even worked on her even though she has blonde hair. So I think this can work for different hair colors, but it's important that you gradually increase the amount of color based on your hair and skin tone. For example, I can completely color my eyebrows without any problems, but when I colored my sister's eyebrows, I had to draw thin thin lines. But the color suits me, so that's not my complaint. When I reordered the eyebrow pencil, it seemed a little different. The cap protecting the pen end was too loose and the cap protecting the brush was too tight. I thought I would break the pencil trying to tear off this page. But I put my old caps on a new pencil and now the pencil works a little better. Then the pencil is a bit softer than before when applying and it smudges when blending, so I have to clean my face after application. Looking at it I had a theory as to why the second pencil is different. The first says "Made in USA" and the second says "Made in Mexico". I think the company is trying to make more profit by making the pencil in Mexico but still charging the same price (it used to be $18 too and I know this because it's always been on my wish list , lol). I think this pen has the same pigment but is generally made from cheaper products and therefore my experience with it was worse the second time around. But what annoys me the most is that I still paid 18€ for it. Not cool. That being said I love the color and so if I use it more often I just go to Sephora and they give me the same colored pencil. But only about quality.

Pros
  • Good thing
Cons
  • Long wait
