Works well as a TV backlight or hidden accent

The bulbs themselves are well packaged and easy to set up with the app provided. No problem first time but I'm an IT guy so no problem here. one). Attach the light strip to the Wi-Fi dongle and turn on the device. 2). Scan the provided QR code to install the app and register on its website. 3). Follow the on-screen instructions and voila! Light quality is good. Pure white doesn't exist, and none of the competing strips offer it. Colors are pretty good, decent saturation and range, unless you hit yellow where they're particularly blurry. They remind me of the earliest generation of Hue bulbs that had the same issues and may be the exact same LEDs. They're not as bright as the 60 watt equivalent you might use in a lamp. Use them completely hidden where they won't be seen and the output brightness is less important - behind the TV as a bias light source works great. As a cheap alternative to Hue, they offer very good value for money. They might be perfect for you, give them a try.
