I wish I had bought this a long time ago!

All positive reviews are true! I didn't have a projector before, although I used to use one. I was worried that I would need the darkness in the room to see the picture, but during the day the picture is bright enough, not unlike the TV. I was surprised it was DLP (I thought they stopped making DLP) and that's why it gets warm in a minute and the fan can be a bit noisy. The fan runs constantly at the same speed as long as the projector is on. When you turn off the projector, it may take about 3 minutes for the projector to actually turn off. For some reason this is necessary. It's nostalgic to see a "TV" that takes time to warm up and turn off (reminds me of the old days!). But the picture quality is very good! I just streamed it to the wall (no screen, no specific color), hooked it up to my laptop via HDMI, and connected my laptop to two Sony SBS43 Bluetooth speakers. I have a fully portable human cave. I can easily move it and put it in any room, other house or building without the hassle of moving a big screen TV. Also, the projector, laptop, and speakers all fit in the trunk of my car (unlike a big screen TV). All in all, I'm wondering here why the hell anyone would still buy a big screen TV. It's cheaper, more convenient, and the picture quality and viewing angles are much better.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • No instructions
