I've had many problems trying to get Steam streaming to work without a monitor connected. Without a connected monitor, the game sometimes started correctly with sound. But usually that's not the case, or I'd have a picture but no sound. This little emulator worked great. My main computer is set to automatically login and launch Steam. When I'm ready to stream a game from my laptop, I'm good to go. No questions ; full resolution and sound. The preconfigured TeamViewer setup should also work; there is some magic. However, I didn't want to rely on other software. With this adapter I turn on the computer and everything is ready.
