Review on TeiKis 16oz Kombucha/Beer Bottles (6 Pack,Clear) - Easy Cap for Better Grip: Slip-Free Solution by Gerald Duncan

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great bottle. With updated information.

Update: I've used these bottles many times and thought I'd give a little more info. I think I paid $18.95 for a set of 6. I pay no more than 20€ for a set. If they're $20 or more, I'll look elsewhere. Sealing: I currently have two bottles (out of 24+) that are not sealed well. I believe the reason for this is the very small seam of mold that is on the lid. Remove the gasket from the cover and inspect the seam of the mold. If it's looking a little excessive, you might just need to give it a deep clean to smooth it out a little where it meets. Look at the picture of the cap with the seal removed. You also want the lids to be difficult to close as they will come loose over time with repeated use (these bottles are beautiful and durable). This can be adjusted with pliers and some practice. If your bottle doesn't hold pressure and the glass rim is fine, then the problem is most likely a weak print or a seam on the cap. As long as the pressure is good. My original post: I love this bottle. The seal stays firmly in place and I have had no issues with the seal. Holds CO2 pressure well. I highly recommend it for kombucha. Cleaning is the same as any small bottle, you need a brush to hand. I bought 4 cases and use them all.
