Each pair of these earrings comes in a separate tiny zipped pouch, all six pouches in a slightly larger zipped pouch and the larger pouch in a discreet plastic case. The CZ stones were very shiny and white. Seems to be placed nicely. While I did not do any metallurgical testing to confirm that the metal parts were actually 316L steel, I have enough experience with metals to say they are definitely austenitic stainless steel. I wear them for 24 hours straight with no problems. I definitely recommend these earrings. Update: I wear them several days in a row without taking them off. Still no problem. Another update, upon closer inspection the stones on the 8mm earrings I received are a bit yellow. However, since this size is still a bit too big for me, I am still satisfied with my purchase.
