Attractive but not the best choice

I've been using the Vacu Vin wine corer to preserve wine residue for a number of years, so I was interested in comparing Visol to my current product. APPEARANCE: Visol is very attractive and demanding; It will look good at the party. COST: Visol is cheaper than Vacu Vin, but you'll need a new one for every bottle of wine. If you need to seal more than one bottle, e.g. B. a red bottle and a white bottle, Vacu Vin is the cheaper choice and gets more expensive the more bottles you seal. EASY TO USE: Having both a seal and a sealing tool in one is convenient, but using the visol is more inconvenient. There's not much difference in the level of Visol when the bottle is sealed or open, and since you're covering most of it with your hand when sealing, you have to stop to watch each hit. The Vacu Vin beeps when the bottle is closed with cotton. In the "ultimate" two-seal test, with only one glass of wine left in the bottle, Visol 8 presses were required to seal the bottle. and Vacu Vin takes 6, the difference is not big. PERFORMANCE: The bottle appeared to be capped properly with both tools. STORAGE: A bottle sealed with Visol is approximately 2.5cm taller than the same bottle sealed with Vacu Vin, which can be an issue on some shelves. Overall, this little device works moderately well and could be seen as an attractive, inexpensive hostess gift, but for home use I'll stick with my Vacu Vin.
