Overall, if you need a good choker to keep your dog in line, look elsewhere, but if you want the ease of a quick slip on when you head out, this may be the product for you. When I bought this product, I thought the rope would be skinnier and more pliable than it actually was. It is about the diameter of a pinky-finger and I was expecting something closer to a pencil-sized diameter. Because of the thickness, it is 'too comfortable' and definitely doesn't keep my dog from pulling as much as our tape-style choker previously did. (Thankfully my dog doesn't pull much now that he's older). On the plus side, it is very easy to slip over my dog's neck (we usually walk him without a lease, then put the leash on when we meet the main road). It is a little bulky, but not weighty. Too bulky, in my opinion to leave it on all the time.
