Yes I have it and I love it!

This is a real person reviewing a real product, a cotton blanket. I've had this blanket for 7 months now and I love it! Let me try to clear up some inconsistencies in the reviews. I suspect some reviewers are expecting this quilt to resemble quilts made from other materials. First, it is a 100% cotton blanket. Ever owned a 100% cotton sweater? It's not as soft as sweaters made of other materials - acrylic, fleece, viscose, etc., but feels better and lasts longer. This blanket doesn't feel like burlap or cashmere, but it is softer than most other cotton blankets I've had. Again, a cotton sweater weighs more than sweaters made from other materials, especially man-made ones. This blanket also has a certain weight. This is not a vellux blanket or fleece. This duvet wraps you up and makes you feel wrapped up instead of just warm. Likewise, it is not a quilt or micro plush blanket. Cotton blankets are made from a single layer of woven material and are therefore thin compared to a quilt or micro plush blanket. This does not mean the absence of heat. This blanket is as thick as any other cotton blanket I've had and is woven more tightly so broken threads don't get tangled in holes and retains heat well. As you would expect from cotton, it washes well and gets softer each time. (Think of your jeans this time.) I've had no problems with excessive shrinkage and have no regrets. Can be washed and dried in the washing machine without much care. In the beginning it was oversized so shrinking wasn't an issue. In the summer this blanket went over the top sheet and under the comforter - not a big thick blanket, pieces of fabric gathered together. It was perfect for the cool mountain nights. Now in winter it sits over a top sheet, under a wool comforter and the same comforter and works better than any other comforter combo I've tried - with my thermostat on 55 degrees! (Ask any man/woman outdoors, warmth is in the layering.) The beauty of cotton lies in the fabric's breathability—warmth without the suffocation found in many man-made fabrics. Well-made 100% cotton duvet. They're a unique and delicious treat, but just like there are "cat people" and "dog people," they're not for everyone.
