Review on OEM Original Bulb Inside Araca 5J.J9H05.001 Projector Lamp with Housing for BenQ W1070+ HT1075 HT1085ST i700 W1070+W W108ST i701JD by Curtis Nice

The lamp worked as expected until one day it stopped working prematurely (after about 2 months of use). We notified Araca and they acted on our concerns, took responsibility and provided us with a replacement under the terms of the advertised warranty. That was both gratifying and unexpected, since many companies don't operate as honestly as Araca. When installing the 2nd bulb (which was delivered quickly!) we found that the first had less than 150 hours of use. We fitted a replacement bulb and it seemed to work fine - unfortunately only 9 hours - then it stopped working. When they contacted Araka again, they immediately sent another replacement. There was no indication as to why the bulb stopped working (there was no noticeable "burn out" or broken glass, just a red light on the projector). We fitted a second replacement lamp (3rd Araca bulb/bulb) and it has worked well so far. One of the main reasons we decided to purchase an Araca bulb for our BenQ projector was the promise of a 200-day replacement guarantee. We have been using projectors for a long time and use them every day, so we understand that projector lamps can and do fail prematurely, no matter how cheap or expensive they are. Our concerns were validated by the errors encountered, but what we didn't expect was that the company is so honest in honoring the warranty and providing great communication and customer service and we really appreciate that. With the 3rd lightbulb we can only say "so far so good". But remember it was only a few months old and only used a few hundred hours. Projector lamps of this type should last a few thousand hours, so we'll have to wait and see. We will revisit Araca when the time is right (in a year or two, hopefully not sooner) and we encourage others to do the same if you want confidence in the company and their product. UPDATE February 11th. 2021. Drain it. The replacement (the third one Araka sent to us) also failed after only about a month of use. There is definitely a problem with their product as both the original bulb and the first replacement purchased from BenQ lasted 1 to 2 years). We notified Araca today and are awaiting their response. We think that as always, they will return to us quickly. Unfortunately, the quality and reliability of the products does not match their service. We expect them to either refund our purchase price or send another. I will update this after we get an answer.
