Review on πŸ”§ Maximize Storage Efficiency with WallPeg's Flex Lock Pegboard Hook Organizer by Chris Horton

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Serves its purpose but poor design

I've always wanted a perforated sheet but never had one until recently when I bought a framed sheet sold by Michael. When I searched the internet for pens, I was overwhelmed with all the options. I don't know what made me buy such a big bag because I only need 10-15 pins at most on this board. But the price of these pegs was so cheap I couldn't do without them and I was very intrigued by the "Flex Lock" mechanism that ensures the pegs stay in place. to understand what some of the other commenters had in mind when talking about the need to bend the pins. In fact, you absolutely have to bend the pins back a bit to get them to fit. When they're in place they seem very secure, but because I only put ten pins on my pegboard I broke FIVE of them in the process! I think a pack of 100 would be handy, but not for good reason - I need them as a spare when adding new pins or moving them around the board! In general I like them. but I don't know if I would buy them again or recommend them to others over alternatives. The presence of this defect seems like a ridiculous omission on the part of the manufacturer, as even a slight change in the pen angle would solve this problem. I hope the seller listens and asks the manufacturer to make this change on future purchases. It is very frustrating to play bind roulette to create ties. I was planning on selling most of my unused pens, leaving only a few for parts. But now I'm afraid I might have to leave the whole bag in case the others break. Maybe that's why they come in packs of 100? Hm.

Pros
  • Industrial equipment
Cons
  • Long delivery time
